Great job Jerry. I especially like the way you have your bats hanging...would be perfect for my room. Was that pre-made or did you make that yourself? Details please!!

Jerry - Very, verrrry nice collection and nicely displayed too. Love the bat rack and the Mantle bat is great as well. Do you have any close ups of it?
Are there any good stories of how you acquired any of these items aside from auctions? |

I had my carpenter build it. Figured it was the best way to house and display my bats. Pictures are attached. The big opening is 1 1/2" - the front opening is 1 1/8" and it is 3" deep. Hope this helps. Jerry |

Jerry,
I did exactly the same thing when it came time to design a way of displaying my bats. My carpenter's solution is virtually the same identical setup. My only regret is that I wish that I had more space. My bat collection is currently about 50% bigger than my bat racks. One of these days I will get around to properly displaying the remainder of the collection.... Oh well

Love these memorabilia room threads! Great looking bat display. Anyone looking for racks, very similar to Jerry's, take a look at Ebayer " 910bill ". He does nice work.

Jerry, thanks for the extra pictures and the rack dimensions. That's exactly what I need.
John, I looked at that ebay seller and you're right...they are very very similiar and very inexpensive. That may be the easiest way to go. Scott, my friend, you know you can always display the remainder of your bats at my place...and I won't even charge you a fee to come look at them

Love my hobby room even though it's mostly newer stuff. The card display is an American Flag that I made from an old shelving unit. Jim |
