Default Help with NY Giants pinback identification

I purchased this pinback at an antique market and was wondering if anyone could identify a specific year for the issue of this pin. I believe it was made in the teens and possibly issued in the postseason in a year in which the Giants lost the Series which could limit it to 1911, 1912, 1913 or 1917. Insert on back states manufacturer is from New Jersey, so could it possibly be 1911 or 1913 when they lost to the Athletics (Philly close proximity to NJ)? Any thoughts or ideas would be much appreciated.

Mike

I don't think this pinback was issued in response to a specific Giants loss -- it was part of a huge series of "I'm the Guy..." pinbacks.

Thanks for the link Todd.

Greg, do you think that it specifically refers to the NY Giants team?

Mike,

I don't think there's any way to know whether it refers specifically to the Giants baseball team. So many of the sayings are so esoteric, that it's hard to say. One other I have that could be baseball related says -- I'm the guy that put the bats in the battery. The one definite baseball pinback that I have says -- I'm the guy that the put the flies in baseballs.
