favorite cards:

Baseball: I tend to think of favorite baseball cards not in terms of rarity or value but in terms of where I was in life when I got them. I pulled the Aaron from a pack in 1976, have had the T206 Johnson since I was 12, and the Dropo is the first old card I got (probably got it when I was 10 or 11).

Nonsports: Easiest to choose of all categories. I'd wanted a good Connery autograph for years before I got one, Shatner/Kirk 'nuf ced, and the Marx Bros are not only favorites but the card is from a rare theatrical set from 1926 and is the only example I've seen.

Boxing: One of my cousin, one of my favorite, one of "the greatest of all time"; the latter two are 1 of 1, as I've never seen another of either:

Default 3 favorite cards

I'm not trying to be flip (well, maybe just a little), but I just scanned these and at this very moment they are my three favorites. It'll change any minute now.

I had fully intended to post on this thread, but after seeing what every body else is bringing to the table, I'll just sit in the locker room until the varsity is out of the showers

Wonka-The Plank is just stinkin gorgeous. I was oogling that thing like it was a Cindy Crawford pinup
