I bought my first T205s from Wirt in 1976 after seeing a complete set at my first card show. I remember thinking on the drive home from the show that the dealer that had the set for $200.00 was "nuts."
Wirt not only wrote for the SCD but ran ads offering T205s & T206s at nice prices but his choice of cards, not yours. He also wrote a nice history of the Chattanooga Lookouts. |

Anybody ever receive one of these from Wirt and what year do you suppose they were made - Late 50's, early 60's?
