Default $75

I just sold my AP Leifield on eBay for $75, it was pretty beat up, it sold in less than 12 hours, In case anyone cares. I think I had it on this board for like $60 and no takers so I don't think it's all that tough...I think someone sold a Sovereign back AP for $100 recently and there was another one on eBay that went for around the same...

Patrick,
The prices you quoted I think are in line with what that card should sell for. If I recall the ones I tracked last year, there were VG/EX'ish copies going for $500+ and then suddenly, the prices returned to normal. I never did come up with a good theory for that and it didn't appear that anything shady was going on with the auctions to the best of my detection. They seemed to be legit sales on 3 or 4 different copies and then back down to Earth.

Default OK

That's something I've never quite figured out with pre-war pricing, seems like a lot of peaks and valleys. A couple determined bidders can jack a $ up. I'm pretty sure I had the AP up for sale for around that price and all I heard was crickets for 30 days. I never liked that card (condition), or that variation so I hope it finds a happier home.

In the spirit of this thread, I have noticed that the T206 Joe Doyle Hands above head (without Nat'l) has shot up in price. I feel like I missed something. Wasn't this a common card?

Default t205

I recently started collecting T205 and have been bidding on a number of auctions on Ebay, but I haven't gotten anything in about the last month or so. I quickly learned the lesson that if you miss out on a particular card, there'll be another one along pretty soon, so don't go too far out of line on price. It seems like there's maybe been a few buyers who haven't checked out where prices should be, and really want to get the cards as soon as possible.

$225 for an SGC 20 Raymond? I guess the craziness continues. Too bad the Engle Raymond collection isn't still together ;-)
