Pennock was with the NYY in 1923 and is on the Yankees on the Paterson card....He was with Boston in 1922. One thing to keep in mind though pertains to when the cards were distributed versus made. If the cards were made in 1922 and then distributed in 1923 this example and the ones above could be explained, as when they were made the players were on their respective teams. One would think that making and distributing cards back in the early 20's could have entailed some challenges and there could potentially be time elapsed between manufacture date and distribution. Not sure if this makes sense or is feasible but it's something to at least consider. regards
