Thanks for interesting results.
Agree, amazed none deemed trimmed. Back when, I sent in a GAI lot to PSA for crossover - every single one of them came back "trimmed". Come on folks - all of them ?!?! I honestly think PSA are unethical sob's with GAI crossovers. Kudos to SGC for being honest - may not like the results, but if compared against comparable, you would probably have to agree. |

i know there were some disappointments but i have to say with all of the negativities we've felt toward gai, you actually did better with the grades than I would've thought. So,in large part, i must offer a congratulations with
a touch of empathy as i still have a number of the old gai's sitting in the safe. all the best, ole friend barry |

Bob, last week I submitted my last GAI to SGC for crossover: 5.5 to a 3 as well.

If you fellas care to share scans of the cards that received the 2.5 grade drops, it might be interesting to figure out what GAI and SGC saw differently.

I would never submit a GAI card to cross to PSA / SGC w/o first cracking it and sending it in raw. Your chances of getting an objective grade are much better that way. I truly believe there is a knee-jerk reflex on the part of the graders at either co. to automatically downgrade the GAI card, or to flat out reject it as authentic, w/o first objectively examining the card. I think they scorn GAI, much as they do w/ PRO, CSA, et al.

ugh...you must be new around here, doing it all wrong. you should do one of 2 things:
a. complain that SGC is too tough and it should be 1-2 grades higher. b. block out the grade so people can guess on it to bring interest. either option brings you to c: where you list it on the bst the following week for SGC70 price...and price drop bump it every 12 hours. |

That's a wrinkle on the bottom corner (visible on the reverse), correct? I Don't see how any grading company could have seen that and gone with a 5.5. Actually Becket's BCCG...
