A good reference book is Paul Muchinsky's guide. It's a nice, hard-bound book with tons of color photos. Has a small section in there about detecting reprints. Paul does infrequently post here, you may want to try to contact him as I think the books are ordered directly through him. I think Hake also had a pinback book, but it was printed years ago, but might be good to get familiar with what's out there. One last thing, check some of the old auction catalogs (i.e. REA, Mastro,etc.) as they usually have pinbacks in each auction. Mike |
