I'm not sure what this means under rules.

"THERE IS NO LONGER ANY EXTENDED BIDING PERIOD. At 10:00 PM EST, LOTS WILL END ON A STAGGERED BASIS EVERY 30 SECONDS. THERE IS NO LONGER A 30 MINUTE BUMP "

I spoke with Dave yesterday and he said his first auction had somewhat of a different closing style and there might have been some kind of hiccup in the new software. He is trying to make it simpler this time. From what that says I believe each lot will close exactly like it says, every 30 seconds. I am sure there can be more clarification soon and well before the close. regards
