What's your favorite food that isn't made any more?

My former boss made by far the best potato salad I've ever had but he had a stroke and died. I didn't mind that he died but I regret that I never bothered to get the recipe from him.

Ok, a little weird, maybe a lot weird.

Skull crushers candy. Made one halloween season only. White chocolate skull about an inch and a half long with cherry filling, and deliberately cast weak over the mouth and eye sockets. A good push on the back of the candy made the filling squeeze out through all 3.

There was talk of banning it, but there wasn't really enough time. It wasn't made after the one year, probably to avoid the banning.

Less weird,
Russkoye beer. 24 Oz fairly light stuff from the Ukraine. Needed to be served as cold as possible. Left the US market and I think all others shortly after Chernobyl.

The old 7 UP candy bar, 7 different chocolate covered individual fillings in one bar. Washed down with a cold Simba and we're talking EXCELLENT baseball card pack opening snacks.
