Brad, that's an awesome box...I moonlight as a cereal box collector...that's definitely "vintage" to me.
![]() Rob, I wonder if the guy in your postcards is a Cleveland Radio/TV guy? Was it an ebay buy? Perhaps the former owner has a clue?

Love that Kellogg's danish box -- I collected these cards as a kid, but got all mine with pretzels -- I don't recall ever seeing this box before.

By the way, it was a sad day in my life when Danish Go-Rounds disappeared from the grocery shelves. I loved those things. How have Pop Tarts survived all these years but DGRs went by the wayside? Criminal. Last edited by Rob D.; 03-19-2011 at 07:00 PM. |

Thanks for all the great comments on the Kellogg's box. I don't know when the Danish Go-Rounds went off the shelf, but I have never had any. You guys make it sound like I missed something special.
It's interesting to note that the Copyright date on the box is 1971, yet the Copyright date on the back of the cards is 1972.

They were like extra-thick Pop Tarts. I remember the food and the cards well. I'm glad someone shared the box here!

This has nothing to do with baseball, but it does have to do with breakfast
...my second collecting love is vintage cereal boxes...just got this one in today. 1957 Sugar Crisp unopened box...someday I'd love to pick up one of the Ted Williams Sugar Crisp boxes.![]()
