This is what happens when you allow anyone and everyone to go into retail. This guy is a horrible seller.

Ok - that's what I thought. I wanted to get some of your opinions. Much appreciated.

I thought my final response was rather accurate.

Like I expected, there hasn't been a response from the seller. Just like the seller's "eBay ME" page - this lack of a response is typical of a whining child, which I hate to say it, but it is how this seller has acted.

Okay....that's hilarious.

I am literally going to send him an e-mail asking for a side scan.

Default E-bay Scans

I ask for a back scan on just about every card I buy be it $10 or $1000. Even though, I trust most 3rd party graders, I don't like to be surprised. I thought most sellers just put up the one pic so they don't have to pay the extra .15 cents for additional pics. When I sell a card or anything else, I scan both sides/photo all angles so if someone ask I just send jpeg off, no big deal. I would think if he was buying something from you he would want and appreciate the same...

Sounds like one of the "old school" sellers who are still pissed that the days of their overrating and overvaluing their cards has passed. Damned grading companies!

PSA needs to go to the 0.5 grade.

As a person who sells on eBay I can TOTALLY understand the original seller's frustrations with the games, hoops and BS that eBay management throws at us.

HOWEVER, even though I only add one picture to my listing (because of the extra fee) I DO take additional photos or scans and tell buyers to E mail me if they would like additional photos or info about an item.

I feel it is only right that if a prospective buyer is interested enough in an item that I have for sale and wants some additional info or a picutre of something that I didn't show then I should respect them and try to help them out. I mean, it is not like they can just come over to the house and inspect the item in person and get the info they want that way.

I think if the seller in the original post doesn't want to make an extra effort to help a buyer out then the buyer shouldn't make an extra effort spending money on what that guy has to sell.

The seller sounds like a prick, but in all honesty, if you committed to buy the card and then told him you would follow through on the purchase contingent on liking the back scan, I understand his perspective. That is something that should have been asked for in advance. Just my .02.

Ralph-pure coincidence, you asked me for a scan of the SGC 50 Sovereign Chase I just put up on ebay. It's not that I don't want to spend the extra
.15c, I just don't know how to get up two scans at once. Someone once explained it to me and it was so convoluted I became completely glazed over and started envisioning old Mod Squad reruns.
