This is a clipping from Sports Illustrated that I had Stan The Man sign at a card show many moons ago. I especially like the caption at the bottom!

Phil, great Rochester team photo. I'd not seen one of those. Tell us more about it.


M114 of 1946 team. Mr. Musial, bottom row, third from left. 3 HOFers on there. Old Mike Gonzalez is on the bottom row 5th from the right with his hat pushed back. And Doc Weaver (the tall, white headed fellow, near the middle of the back row), who's mentioned in When It Was a Game... he was the trainer for the Gashouse Gang, I think it's Elden Aucker's old voice that mentions him.
