I won a Camel bat a few auctions ago from Mears as well, its from 1928 of a Minor Leaguer.
It weighs a ton & won it at the opening bid of $25

I know Mike Specht will give certificates documenting the bat manufacturer history for you. He's a well known bat guy and can be contacted at gameuseduniverse.com

JW, sounds like you got a great deal at 25. Interesting that your bat does not have the ring around the logo. Does it say "Oil Treated"?
Thanks for the lead Re:Specht, drc. Looking forward to Mears next auction. Last edited by Mark mccormick; 02-17-2011 at 12:25 AM. |
