I also don't think the cards are authentic.
But, if you want them assessed by pros, my opinion is do not bring them to KSA. If you are not aware, SGC has a Canadian Submission Centre in Oshawa (the address is on their website under Canadian Submissions). The deal is that you mail the cards to them in Canada - use Canada Post with signature required. The guy in Canada carries the cards to SGC in N.J. and brings them back into Canada after they are graded. He mails them back to you from within Canada. No border/customs/tax issues at all. No charge for that service. The only thing you need to know is that this process slows things down considerably. Expect about 8+ weeks from the time you mail cards until the time they arrive back to you slabbed (or not...if they are fakes...) Cheers, Blair

I bought a card that looked exactly like the weird looking Ruth portrait. It was Bottomley. I even called Rob L to ask if he had seen one. He said no and had concerns about it, as I did. But it was cheap and I took a chance. When I got it I knew within a half a second it was fake and a fantasy piece. I returned it for the few dollars I paid. That Ruth above has the identical look to the card I bought. For the record, the others don't look good either.

The top card is cut from a 1977 Jim Rowe 4-on-1 (like Adam said)
the 2nd card is a modern fantasy piece the 3rd card is a homemade M101-4/5 reprint (contrast issues in the face area) |
