Are you referring to the pack on Ebay?
Yes, an authentic grade means the pack has not been tampered with. Like cards, it can be in pretty bad shape but still be "authentic". Or the submitter could have asked for it to just be authenticated with no grade to be sure it was still sealed. Personally, I don't understand grading packs. All I want to know is if its an authentic pack that hasn't been tampered with.
