Hi Craig -
I understand Burdick listed the Ty Cobb tobacco as a T206 ad back brand but why single out that one back on a checklist? Most checklists are complete at 524 which is 524 different front images and captions. I don't believe any one of those are singled out by the ad back brand. And since the Cobb Red Portrait with all back brands are consolidated into one of those 524 why another Red Cobb Portrait just for the Cobb back? If you consider the Cobb/Cobb to be a T206 and are putting a back set together it's necessary for completing your set. But if your goal is to complete a run of all the different front images than the Cobb/Cobb wouldn't be necessary. The beauty of this issue is that there are so many different ways to collect it and I say do it with whatever checklist meets your collecting goals.
