He was a policeman who said that as recently as the mid-1990s, he would go to the remants of League Park at night and poke around in areas that had been used for storage. He wasn't able to salvage anything truly remarkable (i.e. signage, chairs, turnstiles, etc.) but he found a pretty good haul of bricks, hooks that appeared to have been used in the clubhouses and other small pieces of hardware.

You definitely don't wanna be poking around that area after dark nowadays. Anyways, I need to get out some time this year and check out the guys that do the old-time games there.
