So it seems our hosting company, in trying to fix our issue, used the wrong url and we are in fact hosting some kind of Arabic chat room. Oh, how wonderful!! We have contacted the hosting company to let them know. Sorry for the issue....

The chat had been working just fine since last Friday and all of a sudden yesterday we get Arab chat. The chat hosting company seems to be as helpful as the customer service at my old internet provider.

Well, perhaps you can change one thing. The name Net54 doesn't fit anymore, perhaps something like "Arabian Nights prewar baseball cards???"

I hear ya. I am always saying how cool the chat room is and now it's finally being used. I guess I should be happy? However, actually, on some nights of major auctions there have been up to 30 or more people in there at once. Those nights make the small cost well worth it.. Otherwise, I agree with Jeff, I think they are discussing PSA vs SGC again .

The chat really is a cool feature (when it's working), but it seemed like we only had about a half dozen members that used it regularly. People would come in and check it out once in a while, but it never seemed to really catch on.

What do folks think about having directed scheduled conversations in the chat? e.g. a T206 discussion for an hour where we make sure to line up a few folks that have T206 expertise and then have it open where anyone can ask questions? Maybe once a month on different topics?
