"worth it to regrade it..." and I was thinking how the Babe was screaming 'freedom' and you should liberate him from the slab.

Default great card

Hi Jarrod
Congratulations on a great card. Great eye appeal for the grade. Nice choice. It's a wonderful feeling when we can acquire something that really gives us joy. I love the enthusiasm, it's infectious.....

Thanks Johnny, you've been very kind to share your vintage card knowledge with me and swap stories with.

And thanks to everyone else too. I had to sell my prized '69 Topps signed Mantle and a few other things I didn't want to, but at the present time I have no regrets.

Congrats...I can totally relate on the excitement! ....I got my first Ruth (33 Goudey #144) at the National Convention in SF and I was thrilled just like pulling my favorite card out of a gum pack as a kid..

Congratulations Jarrod - What you gave up for the Ruth makes you really appreciate what you have in hand!
Sounds like you have a great start on your vintage collection.
