I believe only two Charles Lindstrom cards from the 1932 US Caramel (R328) Set are known to exist.
(Scan is one I found on the Web)

That was the story I was thinking of, but I guess lost or stolen doesn't mean "gone, never to be recovered", so the number is 10 with a possible 11th surviving. I was thinking that the story was that he had thrown it away accidentally or something like that.
