I think Joss is pretty rare and very popular based on my experience. If money is not an object, you can get one pretty much any day...

I liked Kevin Struss' article and it was an original jumping off point in my research but some of his assumptions and finding turned out to be a little off.

Joss is rare. Not as rare as the Wilhelms (both variations) or the Hobby no stats or the Wallace one line of stats. Joss is rare because it was a single print that was printed a little later in the run (most likely replacing one of the minor league cards)...the second reason is that it is coveted as a memorial card since it mentions his untimely death. Joss is also a HOFer.

This card is very difficult and finding a low grade one at a bargain price is nearly unheard of now.

Joshua,

There have been a couple references in this thread to prices of the Joss card. Based on your experience and the current market, what's a fair price for a very-good example (PSA 3 or SGC 40 equivalent)?
