I finished half of my basement in my old house. Originally it was intended to be a hang out/party room. It turned into my baseball collection room. I no longer live in this house, and my collection has downsized drastically due to less space. These pics are about 2 years old. One of these days, I'll take new pictures of my current hoard. But here goes.

Whoa Leon, that is a super cool Sisler.

My Sisler hang-up is a bit focused. I only collect the #166 (M101-5 and D328).

Default This is it for me.

This is the only card that I have doubles of. Looking to add an autographed version of this card as well.

Matt,

I'm not very familiar with the 1948 Leaf set. Why are the colors so different from one to the next? The hats look so much different, as does most of the red color on both cards. The jersey's are different too. It appears as though the seams down the side, and on the shoulder are visible on the PSA 7, but not on the PSA 8. Are there variations within the set that just aren't noted on the PSA flip?

Thanks,
Tom

The 7 is out of register. Look at the black boxes for the name; the 8 is ever so slightly off to the left (as it lines up with the blue background), and the 7 is off to the right. Still, nice cards. And one great, gentleman ballplayer.

Default 1949 LEAF color errors......

Here are some more of these color variations. I have many more of them. LEAF Gum was notorious for these color errors.

NOTE......They are not a 1948 issue. The Grading Co's have miss-labeled them.
