Slightly OT: Jackie Robinson premium?
Is anybody familiar with this Jackie Robinson item? It's printed on very thin stock. It looks like a promotional piece for a premium of some sort. Any ideas? Thanks, Chris

Well...
From reading the text in the box in upper right hand corner of the photo it mentions a Jackie Robinson photo being included with a calendar purchase.
I have no idea who put out the calendar etc but perhaps someone will know? Chris

There were lots of calendars put out in the '50s that used this image. It's a generic piece, to which various business would attach their "personalized" calendar... normally a small white calendar with the name of the business and "tear-off" pages. The calendar was usually attached at the bottom-middle of the Robinson image.
