In last year's March Madness pool, I (by virtue of my brilliance in picking Butler to go to the final game) won a 1926 Yuengling Ice Cream George Uhle card as a third (or fourth) place prize.



That's as good of a reason as any to start a player collection!

I have since added three more.

I collect Bobby Doerr cards because he was my Dad's high school and American Legion baseball teammate. They were childhood friends while growing up in Los Angeles. Here are a few of my Bobby Doerr cards:
