Grabbed myself a real nice Admiral Schley today. I guess this would be a prerookie card, he had to be the oldest guy in the T206 set, by a long ways. Who woulda thunk it!

I just got a couple of cool cards from the Washington State Sports Collectors Association show, held this weekend in Shoreline, just north of Seattle. Once again, it was well-run, and friendly. And this time, I hit the jackpot. I left with six Obaks, a Pelty Ramly, and a Dwight Gypsy Queen. I gotta start saving for the next one!

They certainly didn't come cheap, but I was really happy to put a major dent into the 1925 Zeenut set with these guys...

Default 1915 Cracker Jack Mordecai Brown

Trimmed and creased, which also makes it affordable.

Default W600 HOFers

These are downright ugly when compared to Rob's incredible W600 Lajoie, but I'm pleased to add these few W600 HOFers.

Finally got my t206 white sox set complete. My most expensive card was Walsh for $40 and I think I paid less then $500 for all of them (or close to that).Got nine backs including cycle, hindu, old mill, tolstoi, etc (american beauty is the only one I need that I can afford) and got a nice helmar postcard to mat with them once I get them all graded DSCF1092.jpg

Sean, congrats on your accomplishment!

I'm at 20 right now on my own White Sox team set (18 graded, with the Donohue and Owen still waiting to get submitted).

They all should look nice together when you get them framed!
