No, it was a joke referring back to Sutthoff's grandson on the board...

It's hard to pick up tone on a chatboard. Couldn't tell if you were joking or serious.

Default Glory Days over

Lets face it folks, the ebay Glory Days are over. You know, the good 'ol days whith lots of "auction" style listings for nice cards - every week two or three really perked my interest.

Nowadays, no more. Ahh, oh well. I don't spend nearly the time I used to on ebay looking for cards - just not worth the time.

So I have stashed my good vintage stuff.

Am now working on a display of awesome cards from my childhood - a lot less expensive and I still get out my ebay jollies. I just picked up a 1976 Nolan Ryan, while back a nice 1977 Seaver. Also a 1975 Schmidt with the cool green/yellow border. The great 70's as a kid growing up near Anaheim Stadium - ahh, the good 'ol days !

Wait for the annual REA auction for the really good stuff.

cheers

Seems like one reason may be that all the legitimate prices get bought up immediately, leaving the inflated ones behind. I think some may use it as free advertising for their websites etc.

I'm one of the many who never look at BIN.

I don't know much about T205, but the borders look thin to me. Perhaps they're supposed to look like that?

Either way, there's is too much l-r space between the gasket and the card. Whenever I see that much space, I always think the card is trimmed.
