Rich, I too am sorry for your loss. As you may recall, I met and sat next to Steve at the dinner in Baltimore, and we had a great chat. He also was the last one I waived goodbye to when I left the show Sunday. This is surprising and sad news.

Default My memory of the Golds

It was in the Fall of 1978 at a show at the Prudential Center here in Boston where I met Steve and Audrey Gold. I bought a 1954 Johnston cookie Aaron and a bunch of 206's from them.
After my purchase, they introduced me to Bill Hederson who sold me another Aaron Johnston cookie card plus everything to virtually complete my Topps/Bowman BB sets!
It was a great time when I met the Golds and I'll always remember that event.
