That's part of it. I used to be a first basemen when I played baseball back when I was younger. Before I started solely collecting him I wanted a bat card of his just because it was affordable and looked nice. I decided then I wanted to collect him.

I have been after the R309 Greenberg for ages.....if anyone's got one...
It's one of the few Greenbergs I am missing (another avid Greenberg collector here).

Hey Brian,
Sorry about that. I knew there were a few bidders on it even though it was sort of miscategorized. I had been looking for an R309-2 (which are rather tough) when that small group came up....so there I was. I was a little surprised this Greenberg card went as high as it did, in the condition it is, but then also know he is a top tier HOF'er and Jewish to boot. My birth name was Kaplan......long story.

Try searching for team issued photos, they're oversized and nice, and can usually be found fairly inexpensive...
