Jason, Mark is absolutely right. It is in the Dazzy Vance style. I would date it to the 40's considering Lee played from '36 to '47 and it wasn't likely that he got a glove endorsement deal right away. The wrist strap is similar to the Ken Wel George Selkirk Model.

However, I'm not so sure it was branded by Ken Wel. I would bet they manufactured it for a private label manufacturer. I had a Davega that was almost identical to yours.

I checked all the sporting goods catalogs we have along with Joe Phillips' Glove Catalog Source Book and couldn't find who manufactured it. I then checked another of his glove books and it said that a Lee Handley had been identified before but the manufacturer was unknown.

Sorry we couldn't be of more help to you but we just don't know. If the endorsement stampings are worn down we will never know for sure. Good luck in your research though. That is half the fun.
