Here's a little pre-National news flash for you: Paparazzi already starting to gather in the lobby of one of the Mariotts.

I've got an excuse: Still reeling over the erroneously placed post on the main board from a few days ago.

You? I haven't gotten out of bed since then. The lack of consideration really grinds my gears.

Barry,

When you're typing the reply, there is a tool bar at the top of the box. This enables you to change fonts, change type size, change colors, insert smilies , make your type bold, put it in italics, underline it, etc.

The last icon on the right is ABC.

Highlight the words you want to cross out. (Click at the beginning of the word. Hold the button down while moving the cursor. Let it up at the end of the word.) Then, while the word is highlighted, click on the ABC box.

Edited to add: Use "Post Reply," not "Quick Reply."

One footnote: All of the above is contingent upon your computer being compatible with Net54's posting mechanism.

Hmmm, maybe that's why the folks at the Marriott gave me Tom Bodett's number when I called for reservations.
