Damn Matt. Those are some really sweet bats you got there. What does the marking "40 K" represent?

My best, Jimmy

Jimmy, that's a great 1938 Gehrig photo! Makes me a bit sad though. He had just come off another great year and had no way of knowing that within a year he'd be diagnosed with ALS and pass away within 3 years. Even as his body was failing him, he still managed to hit .295 and knock in 114 runs in 1938. The man truly was the Iron Horse.

Was able to fill a hole in my Brooklyn Dodger collection very cheaply with a nice 1957 Sport Mag signed by Duke Snider.

Default Tex and Vandy

Here are a couple of neat June pickups that are perfect matches for my collection that I picked up off of eBay...
1) An original wire photo of Tex Carleton's no-hitter against Cincinnati in 1940
2) A Huskies cereal advertisement featuring "Double No-Hit" Johnny Vander Meer. Pretty cool!

Um, Jimmy- Another Husky's campanion piece?.........
Both items didn't hurt the wallet much...

Just picked up a nice June 1947 Sport Magazine signed by Bob Feller. Very happy since this issue is getting a little hard to find in nice condition.
