Yes, it's from Germany. Usually comes as part of a larger sheet of about 25 stamps depicting the Dempsey/Tunney fight.
Full sheets might sell in the $50-60 range or so. Sometimes you can even find them as part of a display with several sheets attatched. |

I'm not sure if anybody has pinpointed the exact date but I believe it's from the era, within a few years at the most.
