Mark, that is a real nice pickup on the Robinson Baseball Bank. Recently, a rare version of this bank sold on the bay, it was a promotion for the movie "The Pride of the Yankees" and had a Gehrig facsimile. No doubt, both of these banks are insanely rare as you like to say.

Thanks Tigerden...

I guess the "insanely rare" thing is a bit of an over-statement... how about seldom-seen?

I knew the Robinson Bank had to be pretty scarce, and I did see that Pride of the Yankees Bank as well. I caught it towards the end of its ebay run, and it was already over $500 so I never even entertained the thought of bidding on that one. It sure was a cool piece though. That one had to be insanely rare!

I've been after this one for a while. Not tough to find, but tough to find in top condition and at a reasonable (in this case low low low) price.

I've been trying to obtain autographs of former Lincoln minor leaguers so I was thrilled to get this in the mail today...I just happened to see a story about George Lebedz in the North Platte newspaper so I googled his address and sent him a letter and some photos that I had of him and he returned it with a nice little type-written note.
