I have deduced that none of the players shown are Jackson. All these guys are wearing shoes. (Cracker Jack and E90-1 requires faith!)

I agree 100% w/ Jim! Just because some co. printed his name on the bottom of a piece of cardboard is not enough for me---I need more proof!

I don't have anything funny to add (have I ever?), but I thought this might be in line with the theme of the last few days. Below are 2 photos from the Library of Congress Harris & Ewing collection, taken in DC c1913. The left one is of course Jax.
We thought the right one was also him. The haircut matches. I coudn't see any difference in the ears, and the ear looked like like Jax's ear should from that angle - of course that is only a judgment based on doing this alot. The long nostril also looks right. Then we matched three of the fabric frays in the cap as well as a long crease on the top right. So - the judgement was beyond a reasonable doubt that it's Jax (or someone wearing his cap ![]() |

Funny I deduced that ALL of them were Jackson.

But an attorney named Peter (albeit, a San Francisco lawyer, not a New York lawyer) told me that Joe played barefoot! It has to be true.
