Jeff,
That is a pretty one. Have those of you that have worked on this set run across anything more difficult than the rest (not including $$ amounts, just difficulties finding them)? As always, thanks, Bob |

I'm not familiar at all with this set, so the only thing I can add is that last year a guy walked into the Veterans show in Columbus OH and had a complete set for sale. A dealer ended up buying the set.
It was the first time I ever got to look at these cards close up. I took a long look and the gears started to grind, but that damn Monster began whispering in my ear, so I walk away. I think some of the photos used to make these cards were taken by George Burke. Not 100% sure about that though. Jantz |

I've always assumed these were produced by National Chicle, but I met a guy at last weekend's Cow Palace show who had most of a set and he insisted they were made by Goudey. I did a quick search on Google and discovered that some collectors consider them National Chicles and others believe they're Goudeys. What's the real story?
