The PSA Mantle may have also been trimmed, although obviously to not nearly
the same extent as the SGC version. And I think the difference in price is all about the borders -- yes, the PSA Mantle is more beat up, but it looks more like a real '52 Topps Mantle. Your average collector prefers to have more of a card (although some of the custom "die-cut" vintage cards I've seen posted on here are pretty cool).
