I spent 2 years of my college life playing APBA in 83 and 84. The other 2 years were spent playing pool and video games.....
We used to have heated arguments over whether it was OK to play a pitcher with a great hitters card as a position player. One year Rod Scurry had something like 10 2's on his card. I think he was an A pitcher also that year. Terry Forster was the same way, he'd always go 2 for 3 on the season and have 15 7's. APBA rules stated you could play them in the field as the lowest rated fielder. |
