What is the story behind the PSA 6 T210 Casey Stengel card?

In the October 2009 Heritage auction, the Stengel sold for $48,995.

Last night in REA, the very same Stengel sold for $23,500.

Looks like the winner got a very good deal last night on the Stengel, but the consignor lost more than half his money in six months.
