I used to buy from Hake's all the time too....it was probably around the time that Ted Hake sold the business that things got a little bit ridiculous...their opening bids were often higher than the item was worth. I don't even know if they still send out catalogs...I haven't gotten one since I stopped bidding a few years ago.
