If I owned one of the "no-prints" and didn't want to come forward for $40, would a $10 difference really matter? Can we just let the price bumping go at this point? It is becoming an exercise in comedy more than production.....

As I have previously said, I don't do PM's....and, I don't accept PM's. I have posted my email address numerous times.

Incidently, what card are you referring to ?

Ted, I think Chicago is referring to the BL460 card you have a scan of with your post...and I think he was asking that you PM him. Even if you don't accept PMs, I think you can still send them.

JP I think that's the whole point it is sort of joke if you span up you will see where I say Jim R is offering more...I think it's tounge and cheek mixed with a bit of genuine survey.

And as you guys always say if you dont like the thread or something in it feel free to move on and read soemthing else...what's good for the goose...

Cheers,

John

Default Hey Wonka......

Looks like a Blazing Saddles pix of Gene Wilder that you have there.....1974, a good year for movies......
American Graffiti, The Sting, etc.

All around great cast in Blazing Saddles....my favorites in this parody were Alex Karras and Madeline Kahn.

No matter the condition, BL460s are the most beautiful back brand to me....

Sort of on point... Broadleaf is one of the MOST difficult cigarette packs to find. I have only seen one that dated to 1910, and about 5 in total dating to any time frame (they were made up until 1915 or so).

Default Jon C......

Your......"Broadleaf is one of the MOST difficult cigarette packs to find."

Raises an interesting point. Can you please rank the various T206 related packs as a function of their scarcity ?

And, does their scarcity ranking match their T206 card's scarcity ?

Thanks,

TED Z

Ted - for the most part, scarcity of the packs follow scarcity of the backs...

Impossible
Drum
Hindu
Broadleaf
Uzit
Lenox

Scarce
American Beauty
Tolstoi
Carolina Brights
Old Mill
Cycle

Difficult

Polar Bear
EPDG

Easier
Sovereign

Easy
SC
Piedmont

Not too surprising that the T-brand packs and T206 backs track together.

Thanks very much Jon,

Jon, ole friend,
i'm sitting here admiring my T206 packs: AB,Tolstoi,OM, PB,EPDG,SC, Pied,
and even a drum pouch---but no EASIER Sovereign.
are you sure the old sovereign(with a T206 era date) is EASIER?
I'm sure lovin' the unopened Polar Bear--thanks again.

great thread, as always Ted et al
best,
barry
