Wanted to revive this great thread with a couple of related items I forgot to post originally.

The Ruth Mutoscope has a cool reel that features the Babe in pre-game warm ups, then blasting a homer and being congratulated by Gehrig as he crosses the plate.

Jimmy,
What the heck are you doing sleeping at 1:37PM?

Mark,
That is great mutoscope. Congrats on finding it.

You all have shown some great items.

Best,

I don't feel like mine ranks with some of the amazing items that others have posted, but it's still among the best $8 items I've ever purchased...

The box is about 2 feet square. Sorry for the shaky pictures.

Doug

Default A very small toy...

I've always liked this ring and when I found this one in flawless condition, I had to bite. I WISH that the ad was mine. I think I lifted it from an auction catalog. But ya never know, maybe I'll find one someday.

I awoke to use the John and crawled back into bed. I toss and turn a few times, open my eyes and I find myself in a stare down with Lou Gehrig (Conlon/Gehrig eyes photo is my screen saver).

So I take a quick look at net54 and come across one of the finest pieces of Baseball Memorabilia I have ever seen!

Jeez Mark, this thread has been like watching the fireworks show at Disneyland and you just nuked it with your Grand Finale! Wow wow wow - that Ruth Mutoscope is as breathtaking a piece as I have seen.

I want to go on and on and on but don't want the board to start whispering...Jimmy likes Mark - Jimmy likes Mark!

I gotta hear the story on that one, please.

Now... how the Hell am I gonna get back to sleep!
