The "Cy" doesn't look right to me. The "Young" is closer.

The ink running low for Cy and Young is similar to what a vintage fountain pen would do.
If its a fake the guy knew what he was doing. why would a con fake a cut sig? I would think he would try a ball or a photo or even a 3X5 over a small cut.
