Default Another Philly Show....another group of T205 DRUM's

Darren

It isn't often anymore that you personally get a chance to check-out a 400+ collection of T-cards that "walked-in" to a BB card show.

I yearn for the days (prior to ebay and all these myriad number of auctions) when people walked-in to shows with boxes full of vintage
sportscards. When they came to my table, I'd give them a fair assessment of their collection and tell them to walk their cards around
to other dealers and get the best price for them.

Many times they would return back to my table and we would agree to a deal. After such occasions, I'd wonder......what in the world
are these other dealers thinking ?
Anyhow, I could fill pages here on many of my experiences. Especially, at the Willow Grove Shows in the 1980's and the Cooperstown
Shows in the '80s and '90s.

Ted,

great stuff, even if you did not buy the cards, it’s great you shared the story. There is not as much stuff coming into the shows anymore, but still enough to keep it interesting.

Thanks Jimmy

Default Thanks Ted!

Ted,

Thanks for the response. Hopefully these Obaks will become available. I'm tired of seeing the same ones over and over on eBay for the last few years.

Default Patrick

My understanding is that all 400+ cards will be offered in their forthcoming auction (some time in May).
