I DVR every episode. I knew the second that thing walked in it was no good. Who would take something like that to a pawn shop A scammer who knows it will not sell at an auction house.

He said he contacted an auction house in PA about it as the camera showed the STAT authentication. Now take a wild guess what auction comes out of PA.

I love that show... I think I've seen most episodes but I haven't seen that one. Do you know what season/episode number it was?

I love when sports collectibles come in because it's the one thing I feel like I know more about than the people on the show.

edit: Nevermind, saw in another thread that it's being replayed on Thurs

I agree... in real life those people do not take stupid chances, or leave anything to doubt. Most of "reality tv" is staged. The second that a camera is pointing at you, the reality factor is gone. The vast majority of these shows are scripted and contrived.

I saw the episode last night. Total fake. Had a STAT Certificate, and an AAU certificate from Las Vegas. They never showed the third Cert. My guess is Frangipani. Looks like an HCB collectibles piece to me. HCB always seemed to have pieces like that that were "authenticated" by AAU. I wanted them to have an expert come in and say that is was a fake, but that is not how the show went. Too bad.
