As a bidder, I hate the snipers, because you have to play beat the clock to try to enter a higher bid. As a seller, on the other hand, I love it!!! I have seen a card go from $200 to $800 between the last seconds left and when you refresh to the final.

I don't understand why any bidder hates a sniper any more than you hate any other bidder. If you compete in fixed ending time auctions, and you don't want to snipe, you better be prepared to put your best bid out there early and hope it holds up.
All a sniper is doing is putting his best bid out there, late. |

It looks like we're largely pro-snipe. Is anyone skittish about handing over their ID and password to strangers?

always wanted use one of the snipe sites - so just signed up with gavalsnipe, it was easy to get a couple of auction bids placed. Thanks for the info from this thread guys.
