I know these might not be the ideal cards for this, but I like to see multiple eras represented:
52 Topps Mantle 54 Topps Aaron 64 Topps Pete Rose (63 is too ugly) 89 Upper Deck Griffey Jr. Honorable mention to the 55 Clemente and Koufax
