Default Contacting scammed buyers

Is it appropriate to contact the winner of the Lajoie card and tell them that they bought a reprint the seller paid only $9.99 for on Dec 27?

I would and I've contacted scammed winners in the past. All scammed winners I've contacted have either got there money back or are in the process of doing so.

Okay, I know outing these fake cards gets old. But come-on now, two different FAKE T206 Cobb "red portrait" auctions running at the same time; by different scammers (err...sellers) is way past the line of decency. I will give this seller some "brownie points" for including the FAKE '33 Goudey Ruth card, but at the same time issue a demerit for including the line about "my ex-husbands (is he dead?) cards." That line is really so eBay circa late 1990's.

Yikes! Currently at $700!!!

Look at the fourth picture, that place looks like a mess, and those husky fingers in the third picture remind me of a Seinfeld episode. Double Yikes!

Question #1: Why do all ebay scammers have no lower case function on their computers?

Question #2: Why did they stop paying attention to grammar lessons in the third grade?

Just wondering...

Jim, I googled your first question and here is what I was told. Apparently, in the old times when printers set font by hand a letter at a time, they placed the case holding the most frequent forms of the letters on a lower shelf for convenience. They called this box the "lower case" or "uncapitalized". Capital letters were placed higher in a different box called the "upper case" or "capitalized." With the advent of the Al Gore internet, which gave rise to the dictionary.com website. Scammers soon realized that "uncapitalized" was not a word. Thus, their "code of ethics" bylaws does not allow them to use uncapitalized letters. They have their standards. Hope that helps!

Lovely Day...

As for Ebay seller...bradentonfordgirl ( 1 )...who has the Ruth & Cobb up for sale...all I can say is the smartest one in that divorce was her EX. He probably got the Dodge Omni and she got a hypothetical $5K in reprints.
