Collecting companion pieces for what ever your main collecting interest are, is for me, by far and away the most rewarding part of the hobby.

As we're starting to show here on this thread, using your imagination a little can pay off big for your collection!

Be creative in finding ways to tie certain pieces together. There's nothing better Gents then when it all starts to come together. I just love it. Keep it up guys, well done everyone.

Best, Jimmy

Default 1934 Baseball Tour of Japan.

This fabulous scorecard just arrived and is a perfect companion piece for my vintage original TYPE I snapshots that originate from the Fujita Japanese Baseball Collection featured in Sotheby/SCP Auction, June of 2007.

Default That's a very well known image Anthony. Nice pick-up!

These two are both from Babe's barnstorming stop in Dunsmuir, CA. 1924. They both come from Christy Walsh's scrapbooks and the details on the backs are all in his hand. The content that Walsh wrote regarding the image of him batting is awesome.
