One of my most favorite items in my collection is a letter written on Hollywood Stars letterhead dated Novemeber 5th, 1955 from Bobby Bragan to Dale Long.
"Dear Dale and Dorothy; Your thoughfulness in these exciting times for the Bragans was greatly appreciated. I am certainly glad to have been named the manager of a team that has a fellow named Long as its first baseman. Looking forward to seeing you in the spring and I am sure you will have another good year. I heard some very nice things about you in Pittsburgh but of course it was what I expected. Again,thank you so much for remembering me on this memorable occasion. Always your friend, Bobby Bragan RIP Bobby and Dale
